2021 Flip Foundation Fishing Tournament

The Flip Foundation is hosting a VIRTUAL fishing tournament and we invite you to register with proceeds going to provide college or trade school scholarships for students in need.

WHEN

Saturday July 17 - Sunday, September 19

WHERE

Anywhere! It's a virtual fishing tournament, so your fish may be caught in any freshwater body of water

HOW IT WORKS

Simple.  You fish anywhere between July 17 and September 19.  Take a photo of each catch as outlined in the rules below and email the photos to flip@theflipfoundation.org.  Cash prizes will be awarded for the most fish caught during the time period with special prizes for the single heaviest and single longest fish caught.

Rules

Submitting your Catches

  • Fishing can be done in any freshwater source in the world. No saltwater entries will be accepted.
  • All catches must be completed by the entrant.  No help from friends or family members.  Yes, it's the honor system, but please help us out.
  • All fish must be caught and entries submitted between July 17 and September 19. Submission received after 11:59 pm on September 19 will not be accepted.
  • Take a photo of each fish caught according to the following specifications:
  • Must use a ruler or yard stick to measure the fish as illustrated in the graphic below and take a photo. 
  • Each catch must be photographed and have the unique identifier - flipfish21 – shown on or by the fish. It can be written on a piece of paper, your hand, really anything
  • To be considered for heaviest single fish, the weighing device and resulting weight must be visible in the photograph
  • All fish must be caught and entries submitted between July 17 and September 19. 
  • Send all photos to – flip@theflipfoundation.org no later than 11:59 pm on September 19, with the length and/or weight you are claiming. Submissions received after 11:59 pm on September 19 will not be accepted. 

Prizes

  • 1st Place (total length of all fish caught): 30% of all entry fees 
  • 2nd Place (total length of all fish caught): 15% of all entry fees
  • Longest Single Fish: 10% of all entry fees
  • Heaviest Single Fish: 10% of all entry fees
  • All winnings will be sent by Paypal and notified within a week of the end date of the tournament
