Daniel Russell

PRESIDENT

Daniel is a retired technology professional who spent over 40 years working in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. Throughout his career, he was deeply involved in the ever-evolving tech industry, contributing his expertise and leadership. Outside of his professional life, Daniel is a passionate real estate investor and philanthropist, dedicated to making a positive impact in his community.

An avid outdoorsman, Daniel enjoys hunting, golfing, and mountain biking, and is a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. He earned his degree in Organizational Communication/Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington and is proud to have served as an Army Veteran.

Daniel has been happily married for over 35 years and is the proud father of two college graduates. Now enjoying the joys of grandparenthood, he continues to embrace a fulfilling life that blends family, leisure, and his many interests.

Taryn Russell

SECRETARY

Taryn dedicated more than 32 years to administrative roles in two local municipalities, she embraced a new challenge by transitioning to a position with a local ISD. As a native Texan she proudly attended University of Texas at Arlington.  She finds joy in exploring diverse TV shows, diving into compelling biographies, and attending the occasional play with family. Married for over 35 years, she stays deeply involved with her large local family, cherishing time spent with her two grown children and grandchildren

Paeden Russell

TREASURER

Paeden is a dedicated Partner Success Manager, specializing in the day-to-day operations that help organizations achieve their philanthropic goals. With a degree in Business and a minor in Finance from Angelo State University (ASU), he brings a strong academic foundation to his role.

Outside of work, Paeden is a passionate sports enthusiast, with a particular love for hockey. He enjoys traveling to attend sporting events and spending quality time with his wife, two children, and their cherished corgis.

Paeden is also deeply committed to community involvement. He was among the pioneering group of 50/50 raffle salespeople for the Dallas Stars, Mavericks, and Cowboys in Texas, contributing to impactful fundraising efforts. In his downtime, he indulges in reality TV and curates a growing collection of stylish shoes and hats, always staying ahead of the trends.

Rylee Russell-Bruton

VICE PRESIDENT

Rylee is a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience working with at-risk students in Arlington, TX. Her passion for teaching is fueled by the strength of character she sees in her students every day, which reinforces her commitment to the mission of the Flip Foundation. Rylee holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and recently earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.

Outside of her work, Rylee enjoys spending time with her two dogs, relaxing with her husband, and exploring new artistic pursuits. Her unwavering dedication to her students and continual pursuit of personal growth make her an inspiring educator and a valued member of her community.

Becky Johnson

DIRECTOR

Becky is an experienced consultant, auditor, and international speaker with vast domestic and international environmental management expertise and was a Professor of Professional Practice at Texas Christian University. She served on the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists from 2011-2023, including as Chair of the Board during 2019-2023.  She is retired and living her best outdoor life in southern Utah.

Reggie Garner

DIRECTOR

Reggie is a native Texan that has worked in DFW over 40 years. He helped start and lead a local office technology company, Imagetek Office Systems, over 25 years ago. He has been married to his wife Beverly for over 40 years, has three kids, and six grandchildren. All three children graduated from AISD, and then Universities in Texas.  He graduated from the University of Texas- McCombs School of Business, and while in Austin was captain of the track team. He is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys both watching and participating in most all sports. He and his family have attended North Davis Church of Christ in Arlington for 40+ years.

Ken Lentz

DIRECTOR

Ken is a DFW-based digital marketer and has worked for or owned his own digital agency for the last 25 years. He graduated from SMU with a degree in Organizational Behavior and completed his MBA at TCU's Neeley School of Business.  When he's not working with clients, he enjoys camping, hiking, photography, and golf. Ken and his wife Crystal enjoy volunteering for their church and have 2 children.

Jennifer Schumacher

DIRECTOR

Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, where she earned a degree in Political Science. She began her career in the corporate world, working as a corporate concierge in downtown Dallas and later as a pharmaceutical sales representative. After making the decision to step away from the corporate hustle, Jennifer became a dedicated stay-at-home mom, a role she embraced fully for many years.

Throughout her time at home, she was an active volunteer in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District, contributing her time and energy for over 15 years. Jennifer and her husband Mark have been active members of White’s Chapel Methodist Church in Southlake for more than thirty years.

In her personal time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends, following sports, reading, and traveling. She and Mark are proud parents of two grown children and continue to live a fulfilling life, grounded in community and family values.
